7th GRADE CURRICULUM

We offer a combined classroom setting for the 5th, 6th and 7th graders. The curriculum is very robust; therefore it is expected that there should be a healthy amount of homework. Homework would include in-home reading, writing assignments and worksheets. This leaves class time for discussion of concepts and putting them in-to practice.

Catechism: Learn by Heart & Bender 

Reading/Literature: Seventh Grade Lit– Great Books 

English Grammar & Composition: Shurley English 7 

Comp/ Spelling & Vocabulary: Spelling & Poetry 7 

Math: Saxon Algebra 1/2 

History & Geography: AIG– History Revealed: World Empires, World Missions, World Wars 

Science: A Beka Order and Design 

Latin: Memoria Press First Form Latin 1 

Art: Drawing for Older Children 

Music: 2 times per week 

P.E. 2 times per week
