Letter From the School Board
Dear Zion Lutheran School Families, June 18, 2026
Our Shared Calling
As we reflect on the teachers, staff, and families of Zion Lutheran School, we are filled with deep gratitude and care for each of them. We share a fervent desire for our school to honor God by educating students in the Christian faith, and we thank God that this is also your goal as parents.
Educating children is one of the greatest honors and responsibilities God gives us. Because this responsibility is not recognized everywhere, it must be pursued with intention, faithfulness, and courage.

A Faithful Place for Our Children
We live in a unique time, when the world’s hatred and apathy toward Christian education are becoming more apparent. Yet we remain hopeful for Zion Lutheran School because you recognize what your children need: a strong Christian community, faithful preaching, and sound Christian teaching.
You are looking for a school where your children can:
-
play freely while remaining grounded in the Word of God;
-
grow alongside friends who are loving, joyful, and caring;
-
be guided by parents, teachers, and staff who are steadfast in the faith and committed to truth, goodness, and beauty.
-
be protected, loved, and cared for each day.
This is the kind of place we want Zion Lutheran School to be. In the upcoming year, Zion will strive to be a harbor for your children and a faithful partner as you educate them in Christian values.

With Gratitude and Hope
Thank you for being here. Thank you for working hard, volunteering, sharing your ideas, and teaching your children about God’s will for their lives and His love in the Gospel.
May that Gospel, which saves all who believe, be our hope, our comfort, and our motivation as we work together to build something lasting for our children. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless Zion Lutheran School and each of our families.
The peace of our Lord be with you,
Zion Lutheran School Board
